How to view complete email message headers
To see what complete email message headers look like (spam, in this case) and what they represent, see the following document:
Email Message Headers
Outlook Express (Windows)
- Right-click on the message and choose Properties.
- Click on the Details tab.
- Optional: Click on the Message Source button and resize the window to make it easier to read.
Outlook 2000/2002/2003 (Windows)
- Right-click on the message and choose Options.
Netscape 6/7
- Click View then Headers; select All.
- Select the message.
- Click View then Message Source.
Eudora
- Open the message.
- Click the "BLAH BLAH BLAH" button above the message (yes, that really IS the button label).
Thunderbird
- Select the message.
- Click View then Headers; select All.
Apple Mail (Mac OS X)
- Select the message.
- Click View then Show All Headers.
Entourage X (Mac OS X)
- Select the message.
- Click View then Internet Headers.
Network Tallahassee Webmail
- Select the message.
- Click Show Header.
